You have the ability to work under pressure along with a knack for problem-solving while dealing with information from multiple sources? You are customer service oriented, well mannered, professional, detail oriented with advanced technical skills, so join our team!

The dispatcher will be responsible to coordinate the activities of our drivers, maintain communication with drivers and customers, and ensure all the necessary details are communicated to both parties in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Answer all lines and assist customers, drivers and other divisions.
  • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of multiple drivers and equipment.
  • Monitor drivers check in’s/check out’s during shifts.
  • Accurately records and documents information from customers and/or drivers.
  • Process payments received (handling cash, Point of Sale machines).
  • Sorting and filing of documents, entering information into various systems.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally via email, telephone, and two way devices.
  • Perform any other general duties as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Previous Towing or Transportation dispatching is a MUST.
  • Advanced skill level with software applications.
  • Ability to read instructions, follow written policies and procedures and take direction.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain concentration and mental alertness in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining great attention to details.
  • Knowledge of street and road systems in Edmonton and surrounding areas
