Full Job Description

We are looking for Security Professionals to join our team at the Vancouver International Airport. Explore a future with us at Securiguard, Vancouver Airport’s longest serving security contractor. We have been a trusted security provider since 1997, growing with the Vancouver Airport over the last two decades and expanding our 24-hour services to better suit the needs of this unique site.

Here at our Airport Branch, no day is ever the same, and our collaborative teams work together and support each other to make our airport’s global clientele feel safe, each and every day.

Job Requirements

  • Valid Security License with the Province of British Columbia or ability to obtain
  • Valid Drivers License (Class 5 or 7) within the Province of British Columbia with Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Candidates must be physically fit with the ability to sit, stand, patrol and climb stairs for a twelve (12) shift
  • Ability to problem solve and situational awareness
  • Customer service skills and a listening mindset

Clearance Requirements (RAIC) & Training

For many of Securiguard’s positions based at our Vancouver Airport Branch, candidates must have the ability to obtain Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC). This clearance involves a rigorous background check, based on 5 years of history in Canada.

Successful candidates will then be trained in Aviation Security and upon passing the examination will receive an AVSEC certification.
