We are looking for Security Professionals to join our team at the Vancouver International Airport. Explore a future with us at Securiguard, Vancouver Airport’s longest serving security contractor. Job Requirements
- Valid Security License with the Province of British Columbia or ability to obtain
- Valid Drivers License (Class 5 or 7) within the Province of British Columbia with Clean Drivers Abstract
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Candidates must be physically fit with the ability to sit, stand, patrol and climb stairs for a twelve (12) shift
- Ability to problem solve and situational awareness
- Customer service skills and a listening mindset
Clearance Requirements (RAIC) & Training
For many of Securiguard’s positions based at our Vancouver Airport Branch, candidates must have the ability to obtain Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC). This clearance involves a rigorous background check, based on 5 years of history in Canada.
Successful candidates will then be trained in Aviation Security and upon passing the examination will receive an AVSEC certification.
